When and where should I arrive for my expedition?
Arrival recommendations and briefing details specific to your voyage
This Article Applies to all Adventure Canada Small-Ship Expeditions
As you plan your arrival, we recommend referring to your Trip & Accommodation Guide, which includes important dates, times, and locations for your expedition, including details about the designated group hotel.
For expeditions that include a charter flight, we strongly recommend arriving at the hotel in the early afternoon on the day before departure. This allows plenty of time to attend the mandatory briefing and helps avoid any stress related to potential travel delays. If you choose to arrive earlier and spend some time exploring, even better.
For expeditions that do not require a charter flight, we still recommend arriving the day before embarkation. Arrival timing is more flexible in this case, though many guests prefer to arrive earlier in the day. There is often a morning welcome desk set up the day of embarkation, where our team will be available to share information and provide materials to help you prepare for your journey.
