What is Adventure Canada’s policy on single-use plastic?

Adventure Canada is deeply committed to minimizing its environmental footprint, with a strong focus on reducing single-use plastics. As part of our comprehensive eco-policy, we have implemented several key initiatives:

• Elimination of Straws: We do not provide or use single-use straws on board any of our expeditions.
• Support for Microplastic Research: We actively contribute to understanding and combating oceanic microplastic pollution through our dedicated Young Explorers and Researcher-in-Residence programs.
• Encouraging Reusable Items: We strongly encourage all travelers to bring and utilize reusable items such as water bottles, coffee cups, and shopping bags to further reduce waste during their journey and beyond.

By working together, we can significantly reduce plastic waste and protect the pristine environments we explore.
