What is accessibility like on board the Ocean Nova?
Understanding accessibility features and mobility requirements on board.
The Ocean Nova is not wheelchair accessible. Access throughout the ship requires the use of stairs, as there is no elevator on board. Guests should be comfortable navigating multiple flights of stairs, as well as raised thresholds in doorways and washroom areas.
There are no elavators.
Excursions often involve Zodiac transfers to remote locations without docks or piers. Boarding Zodiacs requires descending stairs and stepping into a moving vessel, which can be challenging and requires a good level of mobility and balance.
