Learning through culture, music, arts, and science has always been at the heart of Adventure Canada expeditions—and food is no exception. Our Taste of Place program is an immersive culinary experience that celebrates the deep connection between food and culture.

This program gives guests the opportunity not only to enjoy exceptional regional cuisine, but also to meet and learn directly from the people who produce it. Whether it’s foraged, fished, hunted, harvested, or fermented, every dish tells a story—and we believe the best way to understand that story is from the source.

Taste of Place enhances your journey with special meals, onboard presentations, cooking demonstrations, and celebratory events both on board and on shore. These moments highlight regional ingredients, traditional methods, and the rich cultural significance of the land and sea.
