Understanding our Voyage to Neutral carbon offset initiative
Adventure Canada is committed to reducing our environmental impact and ensuring our expeditions contribute positively to the regions we explore.
Our Voyage to Neutral carbon offset program supports the Great Bear Forest Carbon Project, an Indigenous-led conservation initiative in British Columbia. This project protects vital old-growth forests—powerful carbon sinks that help combat climate change—while also supporting sustainable land management and Indigenous stewardship.
We calculate the carbon emissions from each expedition and partner with Ostrom Climate, a Canadian leader in carbon management solutions, to offset them through the Great Bear Forest Carbon Project. While this covers emissions related to your time on board, you may also choose to offset your flights to and from the expedition.
